At Top at Home, we are committed to transparent, fair, and compassionate care at every stage - including when plans change. This policy is designed to be clear so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

◆ When We Issue a Refund — Clinical Ineligibility

The only circumstance in which a full refund is issued is if our GMC-registered consultant gynaecologist determines during your consultation that you are clinically ineligible for medical abortion. We understand this can be an unexpected outcome and we handle every case with care. Your refund will be returned to your original payment method within 7–10 working days, minus a £20 administration fee covering payment processing and allocated clinical team time.

◆ No Refunds After Booking

All bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. When you book, your appointment slot is reserved exclusively for you and removed from availability for other patients who may need urgent care. We understand that NHS appointments sometimes become available after booking with us — we are not able to offer refunds in this circumstance, as your slot cannot be reallocated at short notice.

◆ No Refunds Once Medication Is Dispatched

Once your consultation is complete and your medication has been dispatched, no refund can be issued. Under UK medicines regulations, prescription medication cannot be returned, resold, or restocked once it has left our pharmacy — regardless of whether it is in transit or has been delivered.

◆ Royal Mail Delays

Top at Home is not liable for delivery delays caused by Royal Mail, including during bank holidays and long weekends. To give yourself the best chance of next-day delivery, please complete your consultation before 3:00pm Monday to Friday. We recommend checking for any upcoming bank holidays when scheduling your appointment.

◆ Rescheduling Your Appointment

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to move your appointment, you can reschedule at no additional cost, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to find a time that works for you.
